Emma made her modeling debut at one week old with a photoshoot with Cristi at Lemon Tree Photography. She did absolutely great during the four hour shoot. Cristi does her newborn sessions in her home and warned us that she sets her thermostat at 81 degrees so that the babies are sleepy and she is then able to mold them into different poses. It was toasty, but the pictures turned out beautiful. We were sent then link to a preview in the early morning a couple weeks ago after a rough night with Emma and I just cried at how amazing they turned out and how they couldn't have come at a better time. It's easy to get frustrated and run down, but looking at pictures and these memories puts everything into perspective and reminds me how blessed I am to be her mommy.
